HEY MELON LOVERS!!!
Yesterday my first JAM show... Whooaaah, mannn that band is THE BEST these days!!!! What a show.. played 2,5 hours straight pure rock!!! They blew all those stoned dutchies away.. Opened with Release... what a starter... It got me totally in trance... Since those guys made a bee tribute song, I was wearing my old vintage melon shirt... They got me all the way..
During even flow they extended the song with 2 major solo's... the song took at least 15 mins... got me thinking of a deserted Rogers action.... They played 2 encores, both 5 songs... felt like it never ended After the first encore he came on stage dressed up like Bush.. he made him look like a big fool! awesome!!!
Damn, now, the day after I listen to Release and I am just crying here.. don't know why... I miss Melon and hope to go to Prague to see PJ again... magic..
I HOLD THE PAIN... RELEASE MEEEEEEEEE..............
Okay buddies... We love melon and Pearl Jam.. the only Melon tributer! Love the music
PS The drummer from Soundgarden was there to set the pace!

Yesterday was my 2nd Pearl Jam show in Marseille, France (i saw them for the 1st time in Paris back in 2000 during their Binaural world tour). I took the train for Marseille in the morning and arrived at noon. I have 2 friends there so i took advantage to visit them. I reached the Dome which is downtown at 6pm and managed to be very close to the stage (in front of Eddie). The opening band called My Morning Jacket was actually good and played for about 40 minutes. Then, after almost 30 more minutes, Pearl Jam came on stage! i couldn't believe these guys were in front of us ;D As usual, the band started with a slow song ( Long Road). Everything really started with the third song which was Do The Evolution, the crowd became crazy and the place started to get wet and warm ! they played songs like Corduroy, Given To Fly, Even Flow, Wishlist (with some additional lyrics about Bush and his administration), World Wide suicide, Porch, Black (the audience was still singing 1 minute after that song was finished), Alive, Better Man and even Dirty Franck... So, the concert was great and i did enough sport for the next 10 years www.beemelon.com/div_pic/PearlJamMarseille/photo019gl3.jpg[/img]
